Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Certified Master Technician qualification.
- At least five years of experience as a Master Technician or Diagnostic Technician.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with brands including Ford, Nissan and Mazda.
- Previous mentoring experience with apprentices (preferred but not essential).
- EV (Electric Vehicle) certification or willingness to obtain this qualification.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Strong analytical skills for diagnosing complex issues.
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to quality service.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
- Ability to convey technical information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair and test vehicles following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
- Conduct diagnostic tests to assess the necessary repairs.
- Perform electronic visual health checks (eVHC), comprehensive vehicle health checks (VHC) or multipoint inspections with thorough documentation.
- Execute routine maintenance and repairs in line with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) and RMI (Retail Motor Industry) standards.
- Identify and source required parts while ensuring proper quality control.
- Maintain accurate service records and comply with company policies and industry standards.
- Uphold Health & Safety regulations in all work processes.
- Participate in ongoing training programs to enhance technical skills.
- Mentor and provide guidance to apprentices as they develop their expertise.
